The Premier League table as of 31st December, 2024. The table shows Liverpool in first place with 45 points having played 18 matches. Nottingham Forest are 2nd with 37 points having played 19. Arsenal are third with 36 points after 18 matches.

Hands up who had Liverpool to be eight points clear at the turn of the year with a game in hand and Nottingham Forest to be 2nd. What an insane league table to end the year.

(We all had Manchester United to be closer to relegation than the top 4 though, right?)

Excellent result and top performance against very tricky opposition. Not many teams have kept Louie Barry quiet this season.

Win against Burton and it's been a very Happy Christmas, win against Wigan and I'll start thinking we can get a top two finish.

I think Sorensen needs a couple of 20 minute off the bench appearances to get back to speed. He was positive against Bolton though.

Former town player Liam Ridehalgh came on as sub in the second half.

He wasn't terrible there last time. I think Duff really wants something a bit more attacking from at least one wing back. If sorenson comes backs I suspect he'd be happier putting Brodie there.

I suspect it will be on radio Leeds after the Leeds match finishes. Can't remember if it is FM and DAB for town

It's a shame he's as i think he would be good competition for Ben Wiles' role now. I didn't rate him playing deeper.

Be great when Hodge is back to give Kasumu some competition.

He's doing Lewis O'Brien things this season. Essentially got him to press the defenders in the second half and he'd still be back making interceptions.

Feel his decision making in the final third has really come on too.

Kasumu should be man of the match today - he's been excellent again - but happy for Turton.

Walking distance makes such a difference. I think I'd feel differently about Town if I didn't have to drive over from Leeds.

Also, my lad plays for Guiseley Juniors so he feels invested in a way he never has with Town.

I suspect Town prices will be up next season and that'll be the final nail.

I got a season ticket for the first time in 10 years this season. I've done 4 games.

Started going to Guiseley matches and have been really enjoying it. I can park for free, get food and drink without waiting 30 minutes, football is good, and I feel part of the community.

Won't be renewing.
