To those watching this, I know this all may sound extreme. You might think, that could never happen here. I used to think that, too.

Trump is a pedo.

As a dad, I can't shake this AP story.

Parents follow the law, show up with their babies for “routine hearings,” to be ambushed by ICE in the hallway.

Instead of “law and order," our federal government has created deportation traps designed to terrorize families.

I am honored to have the endorsement of these great Chicago leaders. Together, we can work to reestablish a government that works for the people — not for Trump and his attacks on our civil rights.

As immigration enforcement surges in North Carolina, Chicagoans share advice, whistles Local organizations are sharing lessons learned here and in Los Angeles with rapid-response teams in the Charlotte area, where federal agents began operations over the weekend.

We showed the nation that it is possible to resist ICE and CBP. Now, we must spread the word to help protect our immigrant neighbors in cities across the country.

As Charlotte faces an increased federal presence, I want to keep sharing what worked for us in the Chicago area.

The more prepared you are, the more people you can save and the more evidence you can collect to eventually enable our nation to bring the perpetrators of this horror to justice.
