I’m excited to join @shannonrwatts.bsky.social, founder emerita of Mom’s Demand Action and author of “Fired Up,” to discuss public safety and gun violence. This is a conversation that feels so crucial in the midst of intense violent campaigns of terror from our federal government.

The amount of kids in ICE detention centers has risen a horrifying amount. No child ever deserves this. This is a fight that belongs to all of us. We don’t back down.

I first called to abolish ICE in 2018 because it was dangerous then. It’s even more dangerous now.

I'm glad to see more Democrats joining this call. We won’t rest until ICE is abolished and the people who have brutalized our communities are held accountable.
