10 white fronts on main lake stanwick at dawn soon flew NE. Didn't see the tundra bean but it could easily have been there. Also 13 goosander and 11 siskin #northantsbirds

Still no sign of passage at Stanwick this morning but a badger trundling along the shoreline of the main lake was excellent. The mess left by Sundays visitors was staggering. The way people treat the countryside is depressing to say the least

A family of grey wags have been knocking around our garden all day today. Regular breeders along the valley these days, often in quite strange places #Northantsbirds

no corpses that I could see. Still recovering from the bird flu outbreak the other year but probably 50 -100 pairs. Not a single bird this morning
