A dear friend of mine commissioned this piece for their upcoming new release for the tabletop skirmish game, Summoners.

They asked me to make the splash art for the new faction coming to the game, the Death Faction.

Yes! Oh boy, yes! I’m eager to share, I’m just not sure if people would be interested at all. This is a very niche topic that I understand is not everyone’s cup of tea.

I had a very systematic process for determining the fundamental logograms. I see it a similar situation when a more western world inspired conlang has words that happen to mean something else in a RL language.

Yes, I’ll to use this for signs and billboards for now, and I will try other “fonts” too

If it gives asian script vibes I’m happy, because that was my intention without using any actual asian languages.
Visually there might be cases where parts of a glyph resembles a real life Japanese, Korean, Chinese, etc. glyph, but that is just coincidental. And I’m fine with that.

Thank you!! I love conlangs too!! Throughout the year I did several attempts to make conlangs, but this is the first one that reached the first viable version stage which is not just “English-but-different-vocabulary”

I made up a constructed language for my world building project, because it didn’t feel right to use RL asian or totally made-up-meaningless logograms.
Yesterday I reached the point where it has the basic funcionality and I can write out very important signs like these:

1. Soup Kitchen
2. Noodle
