Damn I started a run a few weeks ago and the first area was great. I think I'll update it to play a bit differently, I want to lean in the hand to hand combat stuff

10.10.2025 16:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0SHAPIRO: OK, so you've spent your career creating television without Al, and I could imagine today you thinking, boy, I wish I had had that tool to solve those thorny problems... SIMON: What? SHAPIRO: ...Or saying... SIMON: You imagine that? SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over. SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level. SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this. SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

Not just full games cancelledβentire characters and plot lines removed or changed, leaving less time for making the *rest of the game better*, to try avoiding a small and malicious contingent of voices.
It's absolutely redeemable but there are some MAJOR issues with pacing, encounter design and enemy HP.
The combat itself and the ressources/systems are great
"If we lose hope, we're doomed."
We must continue Dr. Jane Goodall's mission and all fight for the future of the planet.
I've been replaying GNOSIA and it's even better on a second playthrough. There are so many different ways to read the game and characters it's absolutely brilliant.
And don't get me started on the art and music
GNOSIA being one of my favorite games of all times, to say that I am hyped is an understatement

This game deserves so much love, I hope to see more games with a similar concept, it has a TON of unexplored potential.
And I remember benchmarking Satellite Reign when working on it, it was definitely an inspiration! Really cool game
Yep, I helped Tindalos on game design and UX from Focus's side for 2 years.
They're incredibly talented and passionate, I'm immensely proud of what we made. Making something so unique was so challenging, but they pulled it off.

29.09.2025 19:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Absolutely, the writing manages this fine line between funny, horrifying, wholesome and depressed. It's incredibly full of heart, yet at times manages to be the best Cosmic Horror piece of culture from these last 20 years.
29.09.2025 17:35 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0It's so good. The soundtrack SLAPS, the visuals are incredible and the amount of details, choices and consequences is frankly mind-boggling.
Also, I never expected the writing to be so humane and wholesome. It's now probably my favorite cosmic horror media ever
Everyone should play this game. It's probably going to end up being my GOTY (especially with the 2.0 Halloween update omg)

lmaoooooo
The original still plays and looks great (art direction is timeless)
With so much community made content like Revision or GMDX I don't see any reason to spend money on a 'remaster'
My main issue is the visuals being borderline worse than the 25yo original lmao

21.09.2025 14:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1A lot of video-game publishers spend hundreds of millions of dollars chasing after "realistic graphics" and "massive open-worlds" when what players really want is just a shitload of weird little guys
