yes, although they're slightly different games (which also have regional differences). Salamander 2 only got one arcade release in Japan and that's the version i'm playing. they have it at my local barcade so i've had a lot of practice. got a 1cc last night!

i've never had trouble with M2 ports before but i almost always play on console. (i wanted the Operation Night Strikers bundle.) i'm certain the problem is on my end. my PC is fighting for its life

they did. these are all arcade originals tho. (which do sometimes slow down when there's a lot going on.) but i'm talking about the screen not scrolling smoothly and dropping frames, which doesn't happen in MAME or on original hardware

i think the price is more than fair personally, it's M2(♡) and this collection includes a lot of really nice extra features all the way down to toggles for individual bug fixes and hitbox options. the main attraction is Salamander III, a completely new game in the old style. there is no rom for that

can't speak on it, tbh. it's over an hour away from where i am. i moved to baltimore county 6 years ago and absolutely love it here but i haven't seen too much of the rest of maryland
