Led by a practicing attorney who works at the intersection of tech and the law, the session will explore where AI can reduce friction and save time — and where it can potentially expose freelancers to serious legal and financial risk.

Being an editor can be isolating. As nice as it is to clock into work at a coffee shop with only your laptop and favorite drink, editing tends to be a solo job. It can be hard to meet people in your profession. That's why, at the EFA, we run Chapters and Affinity Groups! AI Affinity Group, LGBTQ+ Affinity Group, Black, Indigenous and People of Color Affinity Group, Kidlit Affinity Group, Academic Editing Affinity Group. We have chapters organized by location: Maryland Chapter, Florida Chapter, International Chapter, SF Bay Area Chapter, Virginia Chapter These groups are a great place to meet fellow editors, virtually and in person. Make new friends, learn about upcoming events, and join exciting forum discussions on topics that interest you.

Being a #freelancer and/or #editor can be lonely, but it doesn't have to be! Join the #EFA and find your community today: bit.ly/EFAJoin?utm_s...
