Part of me thinks they take the place of it but I am also thinking they have more paid content coming sooner than we think. They changed the usual timeline by not splitting the DLC into parts this time. So I’m getting the feeling it’s because they have something else coming to fill in. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤪

The showcase 100% made me on board with the mounts. At first I thought it was a cheap implementation for traversal but they really seem to have put in the work to make them useful!

I feel like they have more in store for the DLC or maybe another one releasing earlier next year than normal. Because they are giving us the full main story all at once! Maybe I’m delusional but feels like they are switching up the cadence!

Since the video their blog and store page on Steam seem to suggest the usual four characters being added with it along with three full biomes. We’ll see how it turns out but it may actually be a full fledged expansion and the teaser just was not great at showing that haha

LOL surely they aren’t going to make it a pain since the ranch is the highlight of the DLC 😅

I’m hoping we get another expansion for the year or that this one is a lot more than it looks. I miss the narrative and scale of Storybook Vale 😅

Yeah I think both sides are valid and the devs will have to find ways to help both sides feel heard. The game still has many years ahead of it, with the support for it continuing to grow. So it’ll get better and I’ll try and make things a little less toxic where I can! lol

I’m on the fence about the changes, I think they will need to bring a little more challenge back. But not really upset with them making it easier for casual players. I want everyone to be able to enjoy it without feeling obligated to play this game over others. I game a lot and it’s time consuming!😅

They have time gated some of the duties to unlock every week in order to get all of the bonus rewards. I however, am on the fence about this. If I pay for the premium Star Path then I shouldn’t have to deal with time gating. People have different schedules and they shouldn’t be restricted.

Unfortunately yes, that’s my one negative thing from this update. I’ve already posted comments to their team hoping they remove the time gating for at least the premium star path purchasers!
