Trying to become a reader again. I largely avoid novels set in dystopian futures (& had accidentally just read another, which left me miserable, grumpy and mad) but Elif Batuman's blurb convinced me to give this a go. This is a library copy, but I'll buy my own now. It's wonderful.

I'd like to think that would also help quell the "it's a cashgrab!" concerns.
I'm in favour of cameras; but, to be fair, when the speed's been restricted by 10 km or more, old habits die hard. With the best intentions, as soon as I'm not actively thinking about speed, my foot gets a little heavier. I'm convinced cameras + flashing speed signs would help most.
