Four days after telling me he hadn't heard from the Bills and assumed his time with them was over, Connor McGovern re-signs for four years, $52 million:

One of the best!
Truth!
so fun fact: recently during the fraud investigations being redone by this season’s feds, MN’s rate of medicaid/medicare fraud was well below the national average
nationally, it’s ≈ 6% each year; in minnesota it’s like ≈ 2.5%
we know this is vindictive at this point
A man who won't cheat for a poke don't want one bad enough
Another classic post-Homan day where around school dismissal time we get a flurry of ICE vehicles all across our neighborhoods. Today one vehicle led an observer to their own home and pointed at it. This is a sick game to them, but we won’t be intimidated and we won’t stop until DHS is abolished.
I hear from people who are surprised I'm still talking about ICE, they thought they'd withdrawn from MN.
No, they have not. In some respects they've escalated.
Some asked why MN is a target. Are there are there a lot more illegals or criminals here?
No, it's not about that. It's about a grudge.
From the federal government.
So anyone who feels the need to defend this cruelty from the comfort and security of their home can make like a tree and fuck off.
Staff were yelled at during arrival. A school board member was followed from her home to drop off her child at daycare. Our crossing guards were circled by ICE vehicles while trying to keep children safe."
I get to explain to my 6 year old why parents and teachers need to protect his friends
their children to school.
Two of those vehicles followed a mother—who is legally in this country—and her child to school.
Our principal was screamed at, videotaped, and photographed by a vehicle carrying four agents.....
For those of you wondering if it really is "that bad" in minnesota this is what happened at my kids elementary school this morning.
"This morning, six ICE vehicles circled one of our elementary schools during arrival—driving up and down the road as families were simply trying to get their....

I can assure you I live here and have not been paid. But this ass hat knows that.
I think I still have a higher opinion of Joe Brady than most do, but to fire Sean McDermott and then promote both the general manager and offensive coordinator is quite a place to end up
The Bills firing their head coach and then promoting both his former boss and his former immediate subordinate is some really thorough hater shit. Wow they hated that guy. Promoting everyone who was in every direction of him
Just had McDonald's for the first time in a while and cannot agree with this more. I almost just tossed them because they did nothing for me.
For any elected official who needs to hear this, I impart a lesson learned from the NFL:
When the other team is tired and on the back foot, you don’t call a timeout so they can catch their breath. You grind their fucking face into the dirt until the final whistle blows and you’ve won the game.
NewsNation is reporting that "Bovino and his unit will be leaving Minnesota after today"
One of the best things I’ve read in a while:
They think they can provoke us into abandoning our values. They are wrong. We will keep the peace. We will secure justice for our neighbors. And we will see this occupation end.
We’re supposed to believe this is a domestic terrorist attacking ICE with a gun
An overhead view of protesters gathering at the scene of the shooting.

The people who'll tell you today's murder victim in Minnesota shouldn't have turned up to a protest carrying a gun are the same people who said Kyle Rittenhouse was perfectly entitled to do the same thing.
UPDATE: @startribune.com reports that state records show Alex Pretti, the 37-year-old U.S. Citizen executed by ICE agents this morning in Minneapolis, was issued a nursing license in 2021, and it remains active through March 2026.

1) Doesn’t say he was wielding it, just that he had it.
2) Doesn’t match the video anyway.
3) DHS has lied in exactly this way after shooting someone before.

BREAKING: The Tribune confirmed on Instagram that the man shot has died, according to two sources with knowledge of the incident.
ICE attempted to order local police from the scene, but Chief Brian O'Hara refused, sources also told the Tribune. O'Hara instructed his officers to preserve the scene.
