four days before we were set to move into the house we’ve been renovating for 5 months, the first big rain of autumn hit and created a leak through the ceiling. 😬 a plumber and roofer working together ID’d a faulty 100-year-old lead pipe as the culprit. they‘re going in through the closet today.

last week i learned my spouse donates to wikipedia every time he gets the little pop up requesting money. “it might be my favorite website.” he said as he hit the pay button on his phone.
