Why Is The Euphrates River Drying Up And What Does It Mean? The Bible suggested this means the Rapture is coming, but water wars might be a more earthly problem.

Just as the Bible warned, the Euphrates River is drying up. However, unlike supernatural explanations like the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, there is a very real environmental phenomenon driving this problem: chronic droughts and climate change.

💡 Clean energy imports = more local jobs, not fewer.

Most solar jobs aren’t in manufacturing — they’re in installation, deployment & maintenance.

Clean energy tech is good for climate & boosts domestic jobs.

A bit of good news! I've just heard that the four Regional Climate Centers whose contracts had lapsed have received an official notice to get back up and running from NOAA. They should be running soon.

Not anymore - coal used to provide 95% of Polish electricity.

Last year it was 53.5% with wind & solar providing almost one quarter.

Do imports of cheap solar panel and other technologies help or hurt domestic jobs in clean energy? Without a comparative advantage, cheaper energy imports often help domestic jobs.

If your main concern is *jobs*, import restrictions on solar panels are crazy. Even if you create a few manufacturing jobs, you lose way more installation jobs, which are far more numerous.

Designing coal retirement for ambition and scale “Coal retirement mechanisms”, or CRMs, aim to cover the cost to countries and companies of replacing coal power with clean.

🌍 Global coal capacity is still growing, even as emissions must fall 60% by 2035 to keep 1.5°C within reach.

Coal Retirement Mechanisms (CRMs) can accelerate coal-to-clean transitions, but they must deliver results at scale.
