I first became aware of negative space when drawing a face because of this PRINCE poster I had as a kid. I hung it on my wall and I would stare at it. Look at the eyes. The memory of that face informed this face today. It's funny what sticks in your mind forever, and what disappears within minutes.

American individualism is good for some things, but it's the opposite of what is needed to stand up to authoritarianism. Embrace democratic socialism and use the power you have. You've only lost everything when they've convinced you that you have no choice but to comply.
