Democrats need to be demanding more. While they successfully held the line last night, we have to push beyond just ACA subsidies. We need to protect our cities from Trump’s authoritarian overreach because he’s actively trying to send troops into cities like San Francisco.

Too much is at stake to let Trump's authoritarian coup go unchecked. Democrats have to use their leverage to fight for the American people instead of cowering to avoid a media battle.

Unlike what Hakeem Jeffries thinks, we can't just "hope and expect that Republicans will do the right thing." Hoping alone won’t get us out of this mess, we need to act, and Democrats need to stand their ground on this budget.

Why is no mainstream media covering this? It seems like a big development. And Executive Branch agencies are already taking this memo seriously.

It seems like Trump just murdered random Venezuelan fishermen.

He did this to see if he could label someone a terrorist and murder them and have no consequence.

And now, with NSPM-7, he is labeling anyone who expresses views he disagrees with as terrorists.

Absurd.

We should loudly oppose regime change. Not just because it would horribly destabilize a region, but because going to war with Venezuela will be at least as bad as Iraq. Did we learn nothing from our previous failed wars??

My opinion after watching Saikat on The MEIDASTOUCH NETWORK’s-The Weekend Show, left me feeling hopeful for a new generation of leaders.
I hope he will be fully transparent in who funds him & honors the principles he runs on.
I was impressed with his knowledge & being tuned in, to what people want.

We cannot fund a government that is engaged in this. It is the only lever of power left to Congress.

They are pushing the bounds of their power like no one ever has. They are seeing if they can get away with detaining and even murdering people, as long as they are “terrorists” according to their definition.

Here’s what has happened over the last several weeks:

1) Trump bombed 3 Venezuelan boats, murdering dozens of people.

2) Trump has declared Antifa a terror organization.

3) Anyone saying anything that Trump disagrees with is now a terrorist.

Politicians completely underestimate the extent to which the corrupting influence of big money in politics matters to voters.

If Democrats swore off big money and ran hard on anti-corruption, they could actually start winning in deep red states.
