I feel the same way. I have a really hard time, even in artist spaces where I'm supposed to be around "my people". I feel lonely at cons and I rarely even comment on artists work or in streams even cause I don't want to come off as too familiar or weird. I think it gets hard as I age.

My next project is working on adding print on demand shirts to it that I buy samples of to show actual people wearing in the product photos so customers can get a real idea of how they look.

I had to make a cross platform inventory sheet and skus. Jay is coding me something to keep track to keep track of inventory across platforms cause most apps want you to pay at least 12 dollars a month to do that lmao.

I wanna make more shirts, but the price cost and also hand weeding was taking it out of me. It would make inventory easier for shirts as well. I would purchase a sample and take pics so people could see an actual version of it.

How do we feel about print on demand for shirts? All my other merch would still be fulfilled by me but it's a lot of cost up front for shirts for me, and if people don't buy I end up with shirt blanks with no homes.

And your sales are much over 30 dollars than the 30 dollars comes out to less than the Etsy fees pull out of your sales. So for people who can market with their following and make a good amount of sales Shopify is better than Etsy. Smaller creators , like me , do better with Etsy.

Is still due. And they don’t have the seo functions of Etsy and people will never know your shop exists if they don’t already follow you on social media so it’s a lot harder to make sales. However if you have the following and sell consistently

Yeah one of the reasons I’ve stayed with Etsy so long is that listings only cost 20 cents and then any other fees get taken out of sales so if you make no sales there’s no sub fee to pay. Shopify, on the other hand has a minimum sub fee of 30 dollars and if you make no sales that 30 dollars-

I know $30 may not seem like a lot but when you're squeezing as much as you can out of every dollar desperately to keep going, it is a lot. Especially since sales there rely entirely on self promoting.

Almost done with my Shopify. I just need to find an affordable way to sync my Shopify and Etsy inventory. I feel like I've put in a lot of work for something I don't know will work out. I have 3 months at a dollar and then it's 30 dollars a month for shopify so I don't know if I can upkeep that. lol

Experimenting with Shopify again and I'm trying to decide if I want to just have my clothing and Jewelry there or also my stationary. If you were shopping what would make you feel most confident in purchasing?

I was gonna do a sale for our birthdays again but I feel bad cause I already got in orders for this week and I don't want those people to miss out. lol.
