This is a new project based on code I've been developing for a few years. It facilitates data extraction from EcoFlow CAN bus streams which in turn can be used to build dashboards and control your devices locally without the network or cloud.

Notable in this release is complete device and job management for Bambu printers including profiles for A1 and P1. CNC mode got operational overrides, new lathe features, and other improvements.
saddened to learn that my solar concentrating death ray cannot exceed the temperature of the surface of the sun

06.02.2025 17:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Tron: "I fight for the users"
I'm of a certain age where the original Tron was a transformative part of my childhood. But it's Tron Legacy that really resonates for me. The father son dynamic hits close to home. Uncanny Valley CGI issues aside, I think it's highly underrated.
05.02.2025 20:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0even if I change the thumbnail, it won't update the existing social media embeds. it is what it is.
04.02.2025 17:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 01) it's a proof of concept that you can have total control offline including SD card and camera access
2) it shows that Bambu could easily do this, too, and highlights that their choices are centered around inconveniencing you to keep you on their cloud
3) the code could be ported to Orca
not sure what's up but builds are erroring out. gotta run to a thing so it might be a few hours before I can address this properly.
04.02.2025 12:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0there was a glitch in the matrix in the wee hours when I built the desktop binaries. minting fresh ones now.
04.02.2025 12:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0not at all. more testing will only help me make it better.
04.02.2025 11:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0from scratch code straight to the printer. no bambu anything.
04.02.2025 11:36 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Here's a video covering the new code, how to get it, how to run it. Let me know what you think.

checking in a couple of related fixes now :/
hop on the GridSpace Discord if you want to chat while testing
flex. this is so much faster than Bambu's network plugin experience and without the constant crashing. building binaries now. code all checked in.
03.02.2025 22:03 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0anyone out there know if this is a first since it does not require the Bambu Network plugin? code checked into grid-apps repo under the rel-4.1 branch.
03.02.2025 19:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0so I just figured out how to auth with the Bambu printer's camera stream and extract the JPEG frames. this capability will make its way into the manager interface this week along with the AMS settings.
03.02.2025 19:19 β π 5 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0forgot to add that this is in the dev release, so if you're not grabbing the desktop builds and running from source, after cloning the repo you need to:
git checkout rel-4.1
npm run setup
npm run start
by default the AMS slots are mapped to the extruder/tool order, but you can override this in your device settings
03.02.2025 03:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0the workflow to get to the Bambu control screen:
1) open device dialog
2) select stock Bambu device
3) customize
now the "Manage" button will show up on any customized Bambu device *and* the printer list will show up on export/print so you can spool directly to the printer and start the print.
this goes beyond the multi-device management Bambu offers and does it with complete privacy in mind. all traffic stays local and touches no-one's cloud.
03.02.2025 03:10 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0if you're not following the Bambu debacle, this is useful because it allows you to control any LAN mode Bambu printer you can reach on any network without using any binaries delivered from untrusted 3rd parties.
03.02.2025 03:10 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0the json text will go away when the AMS section fills out
03.02.2025 03:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0here's the latest UI. it's only really lacking AMS spool management, which I will add this week.
03.02.2025 03:07 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0in my case
03.02.2025 02:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Go grab these builds or clone the latest KM repo to get total control over your LAN mode Bambu printers from within the slicer. It's entirely open source and doesn't use Bambu's closed binary network plugin. github.com/GridSpace/gr...
03.02.2025 02:34 β π 21 π 6 π¬ 2 π 2adding a Bambu printer manager to the next build of Kiri:Moto - works with LAN mode for any current FW and includes file and print management as well as AMS filament mapping for multi-color prints.
