Maybe the anime girl is the mask. Maybe being a weird little freak is easier as an anime girl blob.
Maybe I don't like my real self enough yet to make it my thing online.
But I do sincerely want to be more masculine irl. I enjoy it and makes me feel better. My sense of self is shifting and so too does whatever mask that needs to move parallel with it. I don't think people are set in stone.
What I don't get is the purely abstract internet personality shtick I'm doing
What is it when you're a soft man irl that wants to be slightly more masculine but your idealised self online is a vocaloid anime girl in clown makeup but these are wholly distinct separate entities.
