So another situation with internet connected vehicles. This is directed again at China but pretty sure this applies to all new cars as well.

Not a big Mercedes fan by any stretch and don't see the point of putting one on a dune to drift in the sand but I am a big EV fan and I agree 100% that the future of driving is huge and only just starting in this new era.

I can see a future where @Reform eat themselves trying to get a policy into reality and the @Greens put forward such a convincing case for the future that they actually replace Reform and the @Cons

As you can see nobody is falling for this stuff anymore !

My desire to park at a petrol pump then go to the shop is high ! But my fear of these petrol guzzlers damaging my car is higher

As 90% of us know, we really have to wait to fill up our EV. It's either while we sleep or while we have a coffee. Had to interrupt walking the dog on several road trip fast charges!

I drive around my part of rural France in a minority of me + less then a handful of other EVs.

We've driven tens of thousands of kms and 4 countries on electric but 99% of people here say it has to be petrol & diesel !!

Agreed. I have had the pleasure of owning 4 EVs here in Europe and have taken 3 of them from deepest France to Switzerland, Germany, the UK (6 times)

People who say they don't work, or the chargers are not good enough are the irons who having driven them

Europe is also running above 1.5 degrees too. I think the far North (Siberia, artic etc) is well above 2 degrees
