Eaxactly my point! The term "AI" has become more of a marketing buzzword than a technical description. It's similar to the way "natural" and "eco-friendly" are used on food packaging.

Sometimes I think the scope of the definition of the term "artificial intelligence" is not clear. I think the keyword AI is intentionally tied to products in order to sell it.
