It's crazy cause while they say that they want Stolas to be publicly executed for committing mistakes, they prefer to justify her abusive actions by creating hypothetical scenarios of a difficult past (which I don't doubt she had but trauma does not justify abuse!) Than seeing what's being shown.

No matter how perfect the character is, if she's a woman, they'll find a flawn, even a tiny one, and hate on her FOREVER, while the male characters get to kill innocent grannys baking cookies and people will say it's cause they never had a gramma so it's fine.

I stared at this image and thought "wow that's an iconic print" and then after re-reading it 5 times I was like "oh that's not the print 😔" I would pay for it easily...

(This is a mini rant cause I happened to engage in a conversation online today, i'm proud of myself to be honest, I think I managed to communicate very well (⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝))

Words don't make sense, it gets even worse in english (since it's not my first language). I worry so much that maybe I'm making people mad, that I'm being weird, that I'm dumb. It's way easier for me to talk write things for "myself" though, i talk to myself in english a lot so it feels more natural

Interacting with people in general makes me feel absurdly anxious but it just doubles when it's an online interaction, I have a hard time putting my thoughts into words and I have an even harder time putting them into text. Reading it's also such a difficult thing for me sometimes, letters blend+

It could probably be both combined! I've always been one to like the characters that appeared one time in a 9 season series or that broke gender expectations or that were more androgynous. I'm not sure if that's what you meant or if I understood something completely different...

I mean i get where you're coming from but sometimes people have favorites and that's okay, i don't think it's nice to focus just on a character because it can make the enjoyementof the show harder, but it's not really a problem. As for radioapple i guess it's cause it's a fun dynamic (in my opinion)

to want to see more of the things you like, but ignoring the whole point of the show isn't good for anyone, it's easier to just find works that focus just on what you want

Oh i absolutely understand that it must be frustrating, i'm a RA fan myself and sometimes i get very enthusiastic about it! I think it's unfair to try to pull away the focus from Charlie and her dream on the actual show, fanfics exist for that, to focus on the characters/ships you like! It's normal+

On the desperate need to prove he's always wronged, therefore his actions are justified, people end up creating a whole new character, stripping away his beliefs, personality, motivations and all that's left is a "tamer" version of Alastor. And it's okay to have a "fannon" version of a charater...

To him during the finale, on one side she had Emily, who had a destroyed wing (that she got by saving him), who's literally the sweetest being alive and on the other she had Alastor, who wasn't hurt by angelic steel, why would she run to help him first? What made people think he'd appreciate it?

Absolutely. Like, people acknowledging his traumas and his struggles is completely okay, but some of them forget that trauma explains behaviour not EXCUSES it. People have a terrible habit of treating him like a baby, one of the biggest examples is people being upset at Charlie not running...

Trying to see goodness is not the same as ignoring bad doings, Alastor >MIGHT< not be a hundred percent bad, but that doesn't mean that his bad actions are less significant. (I don't know if this made sense, words started blurring during the writing T.T)

Also, being triggered is not an excuse to threat to RIP SOMEONE'S SOUL APART. I feel like some Alastor's fans have trouble admitting that he isn't a good person! I say that while having him as my top 1 favorite
