Why doesn't #godot have a way to immediately force an update of the size and position of control nodes and all the children yet?
Why is manually descending through every node in the target control node tree to manually call "node.notification(Container.NOTIFICATION_SORT_CHILDREN)" the only way? :(

Using Godot is being happy and making a lot of progress until you reach a very specific issue, going to check the repository to find a pull requests that fixes it, but seeing that said pull request is 2+ years old and they refuse to integrate it.
