Image Two, The Trix dressed up for the occasion too. With Icy & Darcy dawning costumes that give off a cool aura, & thus, dressed us as characters from The Matrix. Stormy however, didn’t quite get the memo, & dressed up far more cutesy. To give a brief rundown of Diaspro, in my rewrite of Winx, Diaspro is one of the redeemed Villains, alongside the Trix & Brafilius. She’s introduced in Season 2 of my Winx Rewrite, & much like OG Winx, starts out as a royal on Eraklyon, whom Sky’s parents choose for him to marry. But unlike OG Winx, where Sky is dishonest with both her & Bloom, leading to the two of them fighting & Diaspro being thrown under the bus by the writers, being turned into a bitter jaded ex who actively tries to ruin Bloom & Sky’s relationship, Diaspro instead gets turned down by Erendor & Samara, the King & Queen of Eraklyon, not for any malicious reason, but because Sky, with help from the Winx, came out to his parents, & announced he was dating Brandon. As a result, Diaspro gets disowned by her parents, who only raised her so that she could marry the Prince of Eraklyon, being Sky, leaving her brokenhearted. Diaspro is snobby, entitled & makes assumptions of others before meeting them, but she has a good heart, & wants to make the world a better place whatever way she does… which leads to her turn to the villain side. After the rejection, Diaspro gets taken in by Politea (whose the main villain of Season 2 of my Winx Rewrite, more on her at a later date), & deceives Diaspro into helping her to destroy the Sun Kingdom of Solaria, since she has fairy powers (Diaspro’s title being Fairy of Gemstones). She works with Politea, through being manipulated, & fights the Winx a lot, but after discovering the truth about Politea, through a fight, & then interaction with Stella, Diaspro breaks down, realising she (albeit without knowing) helped an evil entity to terrorise a planet of innocent people. But, with this in mind, she’s ready to do the right thing. By the end of Season 2, Diaspro is on the Heroes side, & helps the Winx in any way she can, & by Season 3, she begins attending Cloud Tower to become a Witch, as she finds Witch magic to be a lot more fun than Fairy Magic.
