Overall? Games fine so far. The exploration gameplay is good enough to keep my interest but I hit a point where I started skipping the cutscenes in spite of the animated ones being nicely made. Its a big sticking point for me, lol.
4 star characters are all dogshit from the ones I tried, immensely clunky attacks that lack any feeling of dynamism. Basically just trash pulls.
Re: writing, the games opening is cinematic and looks cool, but nothing really hooked me about it. The stakes didnt set in, no characters stood out.
Thoughts on Arknights Endfield thus far: Gorgeous game, combat is decently fun, exploration and base building is simple but engaging. The story was literally putting me to sleep trying to play it, the character designs are, mostly fine? But feel less interesting than the ones in arknights in general

Limb asset destruction and replacement working. Lucky uses her threads to adapt equipment for Clover's body. So I used her FX theme'ing for the animation.
Fun touches: The limbs go ragdoll when broken. Clothing remains ruined even after replacing a limb.
