That's pretty similar to how mine usually present too. Also my postdrome stuff is more weird than anything else. I'm just weirdly euphoric and more ADHD then usual. It took me years to notice them because I often was asleep or high when the pain stopped.

I do recommend meds highly if you have insurance. They're pretty cheap and even a handful of times a year it's a great tool. It doesn't fix the "can barely think" bit for me because of postdrome/side-effects but I at least am capable of having relaxing, eating, or socializing
