What are the stories behind your OC's scars? How did they get them?

a bit of a mixture of arts but some of my favourites that I’ve done :)

Devon bears a strong resemblance to her mother when Eleanor was younger. It’s always felt a little weird, esp after she learns her parents hid her sister from her.

Aerin is a tall, somewhat clumsy redhead w/freckles, so there were some mean whispered comments growing up. She mostly ignored them.

Hoang's most confident about his hair as he spends a lot of time maintaining and adjusting it. He likes keeping it neat and professional with just the right amount of tousled to appear effortless. 2nd thing is his height (~6'1). However he's insecure about everything else. (1/2

#FarieLavellan is a bit weird about her hair - she likes it and takes good care of it, but she rarely lets anyone see it unbraided.
She appreciates her body shape and the fact that she's short, because it makes her job easier - all the sneaking in and out etc. Same with small hands.

🏹Okay, this may be silly, but #OCMira really loves her small ears! Her bow is a big part of her; growing up, she was terrified of growth spurts and her ears getting suddenly long, and had nightmares of them getting hooked by her bowstring

She's deeply insecure about her *many* (eventual) body scars

Damián’s quite vain and finds himself to be very attractive. His favorite feature of himself is his legs/rear; he loves to show them off in tight garments. The thing he’s most insecure about, though, is how broad his shoulders are. Because he’s so tall, he feels like they make him look gangly.

Dolora takes pride in her height and build. She was teased more over her red hair.

Lumi loves her delicate features. The scar across her eye gives her pause.

Eddie adores every single freckle. She would give almost anything to be taller.

For Liam, they know they are pretty. They had been told that since they were small. So, they like a lot of themself. Idt they have anything they are conscious about. Sometimes the scars or the mole on their top lip but even then. They know they are uniquely beautiful.

pasco's favorite feature is his eyes and he is careful to draw special attention to them on jobs. he knows he's pretty or at least alluring enough to be good at seduction

he is very self-conscious of the scar on his neck from the night his family was killed

kalais's insecure about the scars on his head. so you'd think he'd hide them, his hair is long enough, but he's decided that making them everyone else's problem is the best way to deal with it. by making other people uncomfortable, he can forget his own discomfort

Sula has scars on her back from childhood that she was very self conscious about most of her life. Post Trespasser she no longer is as self conscious, and in fact wears them proudly.

His hair is a source of both pride and insecurity: wearing it neatly up boosts his confidence, whereas someone seeing it undone would make him embarrassed. Another source of insecurity is the large lightning scar travelling across his body. Otherwise he doesn't see himself as anything special. #oc

Vanya feels kind of "visually uninteresting", but she actually considers that her advantage, she likes to blend in and get lost in a crowd. She used to be insecure about her pointy elven ears, and only in her first years as a Warden felt comfortable enough to stop hiding them.

Kai likes his hair the most, its the only personal thing he spends more than basic money on, keeping it shiny and soft 🙂‍↕️
He’s insecure about his ears, partially bc he was raised by humans and partially because of the scars

(He thinks his lip scars badass though)
