Here’s a 1966 #RobertRedford film you may not have seen. Critics didn’t like it but I watch it every time it comes on #TCM. I think Hellman’s adapted script is written in the shade of the JFK assassination. The film ends with a clear reenactment of Lee Harvey Oswald’s murder

Watched The Holy Grail
Just watched Blue Velvet for 1st time in decades and it’s easy to see it as the precursor to Twin Peaks. Small town (Lumberton), high school senior played by Laura Dern — Laura?! Last line of Blue Velvet: “it’s a Strange World.” Sounds like a jumping off point for Twin Peaks.
