What a lovely place!!!
A guided canoe tour of this long cave was a highlight of my trip to Belize.

Good morning Jean! You captured another beautiful
Sunrise. I was thinking of you as I drove in the past two mornings- pinks and purples developing in the eastern sky.
I hope that you are well.
Zara became ill over the weekend & after a 36 hr stay in urgent care, she is on happily the mend πŸ˜»πŸ‘

Good morning Jean and happy Friday! Your sunrise is beautiful.
I hope that you have a peaceful and lovely day.
I’m starting to see a pink glow in the sky on my drive into the grandkids now. 😊

Congrats on that purchase! I just saw them at the AQS show in Daytona Beach and had a nice demo. I was impressed with the quality of the materials used and with the functional design. Great choice!

That is a work of art! Gorgeous and impressive!

Have a peaceful day Jean and hopefully one without excessive shoveling. Stay warm and stay safe.

I love my patchwork foot! The marks 1/4” behind and in front of the needle help with inset seams too. But yes, the 1/4” width of the foot is a joy!!!

Try it!!! You won’t regret it!

They’re doing pretty well all things considered! Zara will be 15 this spring & Toby is just over 1 so he’s pretty energetic. They sleep on the bed at night & have chosen to lay with 5” twice now purring. I have needed the water spray bottle to interrupt bad choices Toby makes toward Zara. 🀞😻😻

Wow! That’s a lot of snow moved!

24.02.2026 17:58 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

One strategy I used to use with heavy snow was to chop straight down a shovel’s width and 3”-4” thick to make a slice I could then lever off. It helped make sure that I didn’t get a heavy load AND it made nice clean progress. If I scooped in with the shovel from the base front, I’d end up to heavy

I hope that your snowblower works for you. However it all works out, take good care of yourself. I am certain that you have provisions for a period of time and your husband’s recovery is well on its way. Stay home if you can and don’t shovel too much heavy snow.

My thoughts are going to be with you as this storm hits CT… I hope that the predictions are way beyond the actual wind and snow that arrives. Stay safe Jean!

Thanks… he is super sweet and climbed into my lap earlier looking for extra scritches. Both kitties and laying under my sewing tables about 3 feet apart. I think this is going to work out hit both of them 🀞

22.02.2026 00:01 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Good question! My bet is that he can help hold one down at least!

Thanks P- he is a sweet little guy…
He certainly is making himself right at home!

21.02.2026 22:18 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

He is very cute, but the level of sweetness is off the charts!!!
Thanks- I think Zara, Toby, and I have a lot to give to each other 😻πŸ₯°πŸ˜»

Thanks… it was a tough decision to look at kitties needing a home recently. I’ve been so down without Pete around… I think Zara will accept him and hopefully bond with him as she had Pete. 🀞

He is a super sweet guy and seemed like a good fit for Zara too given his positive relationships with other cats.
And yes, I will always miss my boy Pete…

A new friend (Toby) came home with me today from the SPCA. He had been abandoned a few weeks ago during the deep freeze & blizzard. Poor poor guy! He is super sweet & chill. Zara is curious, but cautious. They said he was a love sponge and it is true! Happy #caturday! My πŸ’” still aches for Pete😻πŸͺ½

Good morning Jean!
I hope that the storm isn’t too miserable for you!
I’m flying today and I know I’m
Lucky that it is not tomorrow…
Back to the snow and cold BRRR
Have a great day!
