The whole extra 24” add-on was fueled by avoidance of the blocks in the quilt that Shirley & I are doing (terribly frustrating) AND finishing the quilting of those little ghost quilts. I have to laugh at myself…

I just now finished assembling the 24” addition to my Barn Star quilt to make it king size (108 x 100).
Pete walked in just in time for his modeling assignment 😻 I think he actually showed up just in time for his wet food dinner (and pill).
I am pleased with the extension!

Happy #caturday ! Pete had a vet recheck yesterday, X-rays of lungs and spine, got another antibiotic shot, 2wk’s of 2x/day painkiller, and increase to steroid to 1/day. Poor guy… his back is sore, but he decided to curl up next to me on the quilt last night 😊 Zara tucked in tight too 😻😻

It is finally chilly enough to put the water quilt I made myself on the bed in CNY. It makes me smile to have purposely made MYSELF something quilted. #quiltsky
