Also I'm now obsessed with PMW (again) and 400% eager to finish things I sketched already. Been over 3 months I'm doodling something everyday and it was one of the best decisions I made this year :D

that's why these applications that were made for people like me are not working on me.
But once again - I'm happy that it works for others. I'll just keep on creating something that will work for me personally :3

I'm checking my phone every 2 mins (when I usually check my phone like 5-10 times a day). And reward is not giving me enough dopamine in the end :'D

I know there are different types of ADHD, plus I'm working on mine for years and sometimes it's bearable but sometimes it gets out of hands. Maybe

I see that I actually had the application running for past 5h, eating my phone's battery for nothing. The rewards I get in game are not rewarding my brain.
On other days, it may work opposite: I set up the timer and... I can't stop thinking about it X_X
So instead of fully focusing on tasks -

garden is growing, flowers are blooming, character is getting new items, or whatever else is happening.

What's my concern about it?
I... forget about it. I set it up, then go work, then do laundry, then talk with clients, then draw something else, then I need to check my phone... and that's when

Sad to announce it doesn't help me at all x'D
If you research ADHD and see this post - here's some more info for you.
Regarding to applications where you set up the timer, and you shouldn't touch your phone. Music plays (or not, you can cut it), and something is happening in the "game":

Fun fact: I have ADHD but most of apps that were made for people with ADHD are actually annoying me :'D
I tried several things but nothing works better than a simple timer on my watch.
While these applications are distracting me more than anything, idk why 😭
