The importance of this story is that how we make ourselves is far more important than how we are made. Genes, chromosomes and hormones are neither necessary nor sufficient to determine a person’s gender. The biology of sex is not deterministic and does predict the future.
Anyone who thinks that attacking Jewish children in a primary school is a justified response to the Middle East conflict is seriously deranged. Targeting children in a conflict wherever they are is wholly indefensible.

Basically they have excluded any evidence that hormone therapy is safe and well tolerated and then claimed that there’s no evidence that hormone therapy is safe, well tolerated and effective. We really need to see the study inclusion and exclusion criteria and why they excluded so much material.
It’s almost impossible to say. But they will almost certainly continue to authorise the use of human growth hormone and T and Oestrogen to accelerate linear growth and puberty in children with Downs Syndrome. No evidence to support this either but that doesn’t seem to matter.

The problem is that many people use international law to suit their own interests. They use it to defend the perpetrators rather than the victims. Iran perpetrated an atrocity against its own citizens but apparently its the state of Iran which is the victim of an unlawful act. That’s a problem.

Clive Lewis telling it like it is. Starmer and Streeting have alienated hundreds of thousands of Labour voters including disabled people and almost the entire LGBTQ community. Many of these voters have found a new home in the Green Party. The Tories are now defunct having lost their base to Reform.
