Delighted this piece is now live on @theverge.com: I've spent months investigating how a supposed war against the "censorship-industrial complex" has been used by the US right to wage war against misinformation research – and free speech itself – across the world. Please do give it a read.
Ah I’m so pleased! And what a good idea.

It’s big, it’s brash, it’s the most controversial restaurant event of the year. It’s Carbone, London.

Obviously the full quote makes it clear Starmer doesn't know when the interview came out. I suspect he is one of those people who saves his Sunday Times mag for more relaxed read over the course of the week, and I respect that as a smart choice, he's a busy man
Always nice to hear from a reader!
Starmer at PMQs: “The Leader of the Opposition said… to The Sunday Times… ‘I’ve inherited a gigantic mess and I’m cleaning it up.’ She said ‘It’s very difficult, it’s going to take a while.’ I know exactly how she feels.”

Sorry I missed this!. Definitely not mostly London based (or at least I try not to be!). This looks excellent thanks for the tip!
Fat Badger, Notting Hill. Very chic, great food. One of the best new openings of the year.

When I find out who Quentin Tarantino is it’s over for you guys
Have been getting into watching films, basically from a standing start, at the age of 30. It’s been lovely but it does mean I keep saying things like “Hey did you know these guys the Coen brothers? They make really good films!” Absolute clownshow behaviour.

Sometimes you just walk into a restaurant and think YES. THIS. THIS IS IT.

Yes it’s the gin that’s the problem here you’re right
Just been at a bougie coffee shop and they have espresso tonic on the menu which has reminded me I used to host ‘espresso martini nights’ at university where I’d dissolve instant coffee in basics gin and add tonic water. Halcyon days.
Lower Marsh in Waterloo. Pedestrianised and clearly with very chill licensing laws. Even the greengrocer has people on tables outside drinking wine! More of this! A more fun world is possible!

Oh this is awful - Pembrokeshire Council are trying (successfully so far) to close down this wonderful restaurant I reviewed only last Sunday. If you have visited, think you might want to, or just care about good restaurants, please do write to the address they advise.
Oh no this is TERRIBLE!
