We've lost Rastakhan & Zul, and most importantly, Vol'jin stuck in limbo after an unnecessary death. Give our Troll boys something other than being plot devices. We deserve a Zul'jan that grows into his own character we can love and appreciate in the long run 🙏

I do think the SL Nathi are interesting, but also the seemingly weaker of them all. Kinda just off colour gargoyles. Not to shit on SL, but personally Denathrius was a piss boring character who played 2nd fiddle in his own bs plot and the subterfuge into cosmic powers didnt make much sense BUT >>

I sincerely believe after however many 100s of 1000s of years they've been agents of Fel/Chaos is their best expression & representation. I do sincerely hope we see the old 'Void Cult' Nathi's and alternate cosmic versions, especially with Midnight showing new Void factions and going into TLT >>

Khono's post really got me thinking about Denathrius, the Nathrezim & where they are post SL. I'm always torn because of how I feel SL treated what came before & the 'yoinking' of the Nathrezim to something worse than what they were annoys me to no end, but I would love a return to form for them >>

So far, a lot of the new UI, name plates etc are visually worse than what they were before? I never used those kinds of addons in higher content because the default was actually fine with a few tweaks, but the current stuff is objectively worse and more cluttered?

Actual engaging difference and political stories with the EK'dorei & how the option of joining the Horde could have been vs being an indpndnt city state.

I believe a Merc faction could have had us playing with more races, without the stress of fitting factions, faction stories equal factions etc

After Wc3 and the races banding together, I'm of the belief that a 3rd 'merc' faction would have been more interesting for game play & allowed interesting individual racial development and display. The Forsaken could have played more of a roll as an Ebon Blade adjacent civ, Trolls handled better >

I also think it's important to note that a 2004 MMO, limited by tech of the time, and longevity, it's harder for this to make sense, but fuck it.

I always thought the universe felt oppressive due to only 2 major factions, and races like the Night Elves felt diminished in some ways being Alliance >

Talk of the Haranir's faction implementation makes me want to express my WC3 > WoW 'Hot Take'.
I'll preface by stating I do love the factions and think their faction identities are such a fundamental element of the games and our relationship with them being as important as they are to each other >>
