Since 1991, the hepatitis B vaccine has cut pediatric infections by 99%. It’s safe and it works — saying otherwise puts our children in danger.

Here in Massachusetts, our Department of Public Health is led by a doctor, guided by science, and still strongly recommends hep B shots for newborns.

Winter heating assistance opens for thousands of Massachusetts residents after federal government shutdown delay - The Boston Globe The programs provides grants - not loans - to participants who meet eligibility requirements for the assistance which is available through the heating season.

President Trump held up heating assistance until December — leaving families out in the cold for a month.

In Massachusetts, we protected families from shutoffs and kept the heat on. HEAP funds are finally flowing again, and we’re moving fast to get help out the door.

Once again, the Trump Administration is playing politics with people’s food. It's cruel — plain and simple.

Working families with kids, seniors and folks with disabilities need to eat. President Trump should order the release of SNAP funding immediately.

In Massachusetts, we want a high school diploma to mean students are ready for whatever comes next – college, career or service.

Our Statewide K-12 Graduation council engaged parents, teachers, students, administrators, colleges, and employers across Massachusetts.

But the work is just getting started. We’ll take our next steps together and write the next chapter of our leadership in education.

Families need heat now. The President should release the funds immediately.
