If they were capable of shame, they probably wouldn't be working for a paper where this biased, bullshit framing happens on the regular.

Wayne, you've confirmed Sen. Petersen turned over election-related records to the FBI? Did you happen to ask WHAT records?

Haven't seen anything but speculation, along with actual election officials saying THEY haven't received any subpoenas.

Would be helpful to ask Petersen what he means, no?

Harry, he can't "hand over keys to election" because the AZ Senate doesn't run elections. Not sure what records he might've given to the FBI ... I haven't seen anyone ask him or his office that direct follow-up question. Seems worth finding out.

Hey media people, if you're going to quote Sen. Petersen's claim that "The FBI has the records," don't you think you should ask him WHAT records?

Seems like an important detail.

The public deserves to know when Iran war reporting is stifled An unprecedented censorship infrastructure will obscure the fighting

"Journalists covering the U.S. and Israel’s war on Iran should be telling their audiences not only what they know but what they were prevented from finding out, and by whom."

Sánchez: “You may have heard that Spain is alone. They’re the same people who said that when we recognized the State of Palestine, and then others followed.

“We are not alone — we are the first. Those who will end up alone are the ones defending the indefensible.”

30+ years ago, Stewart Guthrie wrote Faces In the Clouds: A New Theory of Religion, in which he argued that "systematic anthropomorphism" -- seeing human traits in non-human things -- explains pretty much everything, including religion.

The Latter-day Church of AI is proving his point.

Senior foreign correspondents spent nearly 4 decades drinking the Neocon Kool-Aid. They are almost all useless.

The younger ones haven't been anywhere and don't know anything.

But at least we have reputable media outlets that relentlessly seek to uncover the truth no matter the cost, right?

Oh.

Statement from SEIU on the Trump Administration's Unconstitutional Attack Aqainst Iran, Reckless Disregard for Working People's Lives

War hurts working people, poor people, women, and children. While authoritarian rulers, would-be dictators. and the billionaires that finance endless violence conspire together to enrich themselves and grab at ever more power, it is regular working people who pay the price.

Without Constitutional authority, Congressional authorization, or the backing of the American people, Trump has created further chaos and instability in the world. Launching a regime-change war in Iran is one more example of this administration's deadly recklessness and disregard for the law.

SEIU stands with workers in Iran and all over the world fighting for better, safer lives. We know the power of working people together and we will oppose this and any other move by this administration that harms workers, our families, or our communities

Congress must act immediately to end this unconstitutional aggression and safeguard working people in America, Iran, and around the globe.

banner advertising Semafor's annual "trust in media" conference featuring a long list of people who are actually eroding trust in media, like Brendan Carr and Matt Murray and Mathias Dopfner

once a year the brunchlords at Semafor host a "restoring trust in news" conference where they unironically platform most of the people responsible for destroying trust in news, then lob softball questions at them

this year's lineup is a real doozy
