Slowly opening to learn more, Lyney learns that Wrio committed some crime that got him tried as an adult as a teenager, but came to really -

- with a small scratch, Lynette decides to finally intervene. She reminds Lyney that he needs to do volunteer hours for one of his scholarships and recommends an animal shelter known for rescues and rehabilitation.

The shock when he finds Wriothesley there after a while assisting there, the -

- imagine what that man’s up to.

Meanwhile, Lynette watches her brother with a sigh, tells him the man’s name is Wriothesley and he likes tea. He’s friends with Navia and Clorinde, but that information is in one ear and out the other. Siiighh…

After a misunderstanding where Freminet comes home -

Lyney maintains a standoff demeanor - polite but unwilling to hold longer conversations - and continues becoming worried for his siblings’ safety the more he hears noises and sees new scars and bandages from wherever he goes during the day. He watches too many horrors; he can only -

- one afternoon. After everything settles down, they greet the neighbor who, rather bluntly, explains he’s a parolee of Meropide. Lyney’s made wary immediately, but Lynette and Freminet aren’t so much. Their neighbor hasn’t done anything after all, but Meropide has a reputation for the worst -

Day Ten: Peaceful World

Lyney attends Fontaine University for Performing Arts and lives off campus with his siblings, Lynette and Freminet. For the longest time, the house next door has been for sale so imagine his surprise when the moving trucks and Meka are there -

- for them on his hand, his fingers cut and bleeding. They’re already gone; tried to save him, but perished instead. His eyes sting because he /knows/ that man - it’s his husband.

His name was Wriothesley.

And the wisp flickers to take his form once more. Together again, even in this life.

- of course it is. He remembers a Flood; how strange. But after… wasn’t it destroyed? The Heavenly Principles, but the nation fought back with many others. He remembers… it hurt so bad, he couldn’t breathe, he couldn’t move, and someone was there with him. He had a ring - he sees it while reaching -

eyes, but why this guise? He’s so small - but huh, the wisp at his side seems clearer. Taller, broad shoulders, scars… who is that? Who are you? He ventures from Inazuma to maybe find answers.

Liyue? Mondstadt? Sumeru? None of those feel right.

But Fontaine…? It’s still here - a voice tells him -

- flame: a will o’ the wisp, or foxfire. Even though he has a Pyro Vision, it’s been there much longer. Also, it’s colder than the flames he calls upon for his tricks - sometimes, it almost takes a form.

The day he first takes a human guise, he wants to say he looks familiar. Pale hair, lavender -

Cliché but Valentione’s Day is coming up. Usual suspects to ambush are there, but Alisaie and Raha slip away to just watch from the roof, sharing chocolate, and not thinking too hard about implications.
