This is the most Republican movie I've ever seen.

Definitely starting to show the cracks here. The best bits are recycled jokes from the previous movie or the cameos.
Absolutely nothing about this movie has aged horribly I swear.

Generally less good than the first movie but there are certain jokes that land way harder.

This definitely feels more like an 'interactive TV show' than a Telltale game would have - most of your choices and relationships don't really matter and how well you play doesn't tie into the story much.
I enjoy the character work a lot though, even if some of it is.. creepy.
274. J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit (Maple Films Edit)
Kinda just proves this could have been two movies without any real issues. Flows really well, even if it is a shame we had to cut all of Christopher Lee and Sylvester McCoy's scenes.
273. Jackbox Party Pack 11
Played this with a couple groups now - the biggest strength of this pack is turning what were generally the weakest game types into something fun. The trivia and social deduction games are top notch. Doominate and Hear Say are also a great time.

271. Mitchell and Webb Are Not Helping
It's fine. Really feels like a couple of 50 years olds trying to revive the sketch comedy genre when it's not really dead (ITYSL clears this by a mile).
There's a recurring sketch in every episode where the only joke is "Austalians swear a lot" and that's it.
270. Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery [R]
The funniest joke in this movie is that Austin understands consent better than the guy he's a parody of.

261. The Haunted Mansion (2003) [R]
These characters have a shockingly calm reaction to finding out that ghosts, Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, and butlers are real.
260. Pokémon Legends: Z-A
As someone whose first Pokémon was X, parts of this game felt like a warm hug from an old friend; especially when the story picks up and it really rewards you for that.
Quite enjoyed the battle system, the characters are great (hi Corbeau). Solid time.
259. Gen V (Season 2)
Solid enough but as with The Boys it leans a little too hard on gross-out moments and "wow isn't it so wild to see superpowered characters do sex things?" without really having much to say about it.
As far as spin-offs go, this is in the upper echelon.

I'd dock points for being a total mess that overuses mediocre CGI and turns the hero and villain into weird cartoon monsters for the final fight while a really cool Alan Silvestri OST plays but every superhero movie does that now so if anything it's ahead of its time.

The kinda movie that the teacher puts on at the end of the school year only for everyone to talk through it because nobody fucking cares.
255. Family Guy's 2025 Halloween Special "A Little Fright Music"
You know it's bad when the voice chat starts rewriting the jokes to land better as we go on. You can tell Disney asked them to make the special and they dragged their feet.

I managed to hide all of this in the back of my brain until now - apparently I'd retained it all.
Half of these jokes would have come off as cringe if not for the dogshit visuals making them infinitely funnier.

If you made this movie today, Gale would be a true crime podcaster who milks her near death experience seconds after she gets home.
250. Victor Frankenstein
If not for the cast being fruity as fuck this'd be total dogshit. It totally misses the point of the source material by giving us too much of it.
Stop the movie the moment the monster's hand moves and I'd be a *lot* kinder.
