My Mom called me to talk about the FSU shooting and then made a comment about how this will make more people not want to have kids, because we can’t even keep them safe.
I hate that death by guns, along with death by cars, are just a long-accepted reality of modern American life.
Five people are dead, with their families and friends mourning their loss because you’ve consistently failed to to take gun violence seriously.
Floridians deserve more than prayers and a Governor who erased progress on gun reform by allowing permitless carry.

I hope that’s the case. I’ve heard the shooter fled campus or that there’s an accomplice. Obviously a lot of reports going around but I hope FSU makes an official announcement soon

Before you can even get on a payment plan, you have to pay down 50% of the past due amount. That's not feasible for some people.
Tallahassee Utilities is seriously telling its customers to pay up or freeze if they can't afford their inflated utility bills.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of customers could lose power ahead of the incoming winter storm because their too poor to qualify for a payment plan. That's just heinous.
I'm trying for Houston and every time tickets pop up, they disappear!! I went to Renaissance in Tampa and the ticketing experience was soooo much easier. I really hope tickets open up for the Verizon presale bc it's looking bleak out here ;___;

The Left deeply cares about community and social progress. The images of our movement must reflect that.
Here, an outlet is making it seem like Progressives are the main driver of social atomization, because we’re averse to exclusively conservative pursuits, like family and committed relationships.
But our refusal to rehab our image has allowed conservatives to capture voters by simply branding themselves as supportive of family, faith, and freedom (even though they have no real intention to protect these principles).
The Left is being painted as the antithesis of American values, namely family, faith, and freedom — which is far from the truth.
Some of the most radical figures to represent the Left, like Sojourner Truth and Stokely Carmichael, were driven by a deep love and commitment to these very values.
Since becoming a mother, I’ve been exposed to more conservative media lately and it’s becoming more clear why we’re continuing to lose elections.
The Left has a public image problem, and refuses to fix it.
