I recently rediscovered crappy old pastels from a gifted used art kit and ended up making a little oasis art piece. Wasn't perfect, but the fact I just sat down and created was a huge win. Haven't been bothered to poke at old photos to edit for a while

A Bold Jumping Spider (Phidippus audax) atop the windshield of my car. He's holding and eating what looks to be a Black-footed yellow sac spider (Cheiracanthium inclusum). He survived by hanging on during a 15min drive. I let him down into the mulch by a tree.
