my thoughts exactly. like it FEELS very "terrible fate incoming", but maybe it also just... sucks? because not even the first episodes of madoka felt this rushed. brisk, sure, but the pacing was always great. then again, its too early to judge. lets see where it goes...

It does feel like Maebashi Witches will be very formulaic. If this was 2014 then you'd be sure that some kind of horrible Madoka twist was coming between ep3 and ep6, but in 2025 you can never really know until it actually happens!
