Ash and I were talking about doing a horror game! Two non-horror dudes! Making a horror game! It's on the air!

(I'll send you the pitch if you're interested)

Hannah i was just thinking of you earlier this week. Things are warming up here and I've been excited about getting back out on my bike. And the other day I had a thought "I wonder if Hannah is feeling similar these days".

Hope things are good 🀘

yeah this is sort of a sad thing. looking back at decades in the past and thinking "I never got as good as I was then". dang. :/

I feel like the work I've done in the last 2-4 years has easily been the best of my career so far. And the stuff we're talking about for the next game is thrilling.

I'm replaying rage 2 and I really like fire/explosions. The only time I do spritesheet-based effects is when I hand draw the sequences myself, but I wanted to see if I could rough out a pipeline for more realistic stuff. This is an explosion from blender with a shader to punch the hot parts. Unity.

I know time marches on and stuff, but seriously, magazines were so good. SO GOOD! The internet is cool at a high level, and it's way easier to share information, but come on. Magazines!

Fuckin!

Come on!

oh snap, yay. AC is one of the AAA franchises that I'll usually tune in for. Glad it's in good hands.

Do any late genx/early millenial folks a small series of books (2 or 3?) from the late 80s/early 90s that were basically collections of "facts" about the paranormal, ufos, and monsters? Sort of like a book of animal facts but about ghosts and aliens and shit.

I need to find these books.
