28.09.2025 07:00 — 👍 9 🔁 3 💬 1 📌 316 - Licence to Kill - Didn’t feel much like a Bond film, but I rather enjoyed it. Like the idea of Bond seeking revenge rather than acting on orders. Nice to see Q get more to do. A lot more violent. But some good stunts. It’s a shame Dalton didn’t do more. 8.5/10
23.09.2025 15:47 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Peter Davison has mentioned he’s filming content for Season 21 extras at the moment.
15.09.2025 21:09 — 👍 28 🔁 2 💬 3 📌 1Some new artwork as part of The Purple Archive challenge over on X. The Fifteenth Doctor (and Belinda) come face-to-face with... the Gastropods!
13.09.2025 14:04 — 👍 14 🔁 2 💬 0 📌 015 - The Living Daylights - Dalton makes a good Bond. It’s nice to have a romance you can actually believe now. The film itself is a mixed bag. Some really nice ideas, but it doesn’t tie together nicely. The stunt work feels like it’s gone up a notch. 5/10
10.09.2025 15:32 — 👍 8 🔁 0 💬 4 📌 014 - A View to a Kill - This film has everything you could want. Brilliant cast. Christopher Walken is perfect! Patrick McGee was a surprise to see. Some amazing visuals and stunts. James feels more like a spy here and the plot serves the character better. 9/10

29.08.2025 13:01 — 👍 6 🔁 1 💬 1 📌 0I may bump up some of the earlier ones now I have context, but not Octopussy.
29.08.2025 13:00 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0X - Never Say Never Again. Connery slips seamlessly back into the role (he’s aged very well). The film was a lot better than I imagined. Knows where to spend the money. Largo is a really strong villain. Rowan Atkinson’s role feels at odds here. Final a bit underwhelming. 6/10
28.08.2025 15:35 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 013 - Octopussy. All style but no substance. I was quite bored until the final act of the film. The circus stuff makes for very uncomfortable viewing now. And putting Bond in the clown outfit 🤦♂️. Not sure I fully understood the plot. But there were great visuals. 5/10 average.
26.08.2025 15:28 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 3 📌 012 - For Your Eyes Only. Such a relief after Moonraker. Back on track. Never knew Julian Glover had such a big role. And Bond shows some restraint with a woman 😳. It has a bit of everything. Some incredible stunts. I think Moore is my favourite Bond, that may change. 7/10
21.08.2025 15:39 — 👍 7 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 011 - Moonraker. Bond in space just rubbish. Well directed, but there’s so many silly moments. Laser guns, hovercraft gondoliers even Jaws getting a girl and a redemption arc (with that god awful music). It wasn’t boring I suppose. Stars Wars really did have an effect. 2/10

16.08.2025 12:59 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I’m taking this as official confirmation CAF was meant to be in The Reality War, but it was cut. The extra was intended for Episode 8 but got shifted to 6 after the change, but the old title remained by mistake.
16.08.2025 10:51 — 👍 9 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0This is interesting. On Disc 4 (The Story and Interstellar discs) there’s a feature called Reality War Companion Catch-up. It’s interview with Varada and Carole Ann that was posted on YouTube. But it’s telling it was originally made for The Reality War.

With thanks to Matt Dennis.
Yes. I took the gamble it was the wrong cover and it was.
15.08.2025 11:19 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Just arrived and it’s the hardback versions of the Terrance Dicks book rather than the paperback depicted on on the Zavvi website.
£10 for the three books + £2 postage. An absolute bargain.
The paperback of just 1 Dicks volume alone cost £13 on Amazon!!!!
Richard Bignell has provided an updated on Gallifrey Base. The Android Invasion sound rushes are on there. DW Stories - Tom Baker isn't (it's on S18).
Studio Clocks and The Time Capsule interview with Tom are also on this release, but not mentioned in the magazine.
There appears to be rights issues with the Oh Mummy and the Scaroth sketches on Season 17 preventing their inclusion. Probably worth hanging on to your Pyramids of Mars DVD.
The sound rushes for Android and the two duplicated features are I assume an error in this DWM issue.
Removed from Season 13 Terror of the Zygons • Doctor Who Stories: Elisabeth Sladen – Moved to The Hand of Fear on Season 14 Pyramids of Mars • Serial Thrillers – Moved to The Robots of Death on Season 14 • Oh Mummy: Sutekh’s Story – Unlikely to be included elsewhere • Howard Da Silva Intro (Region 1 only) – Unlikely to be included elsewhere The Android Invasion • Life After Who: Philip Hinchcliffe – Moved to Bonus Disc on Season 14 • Location Sound Rushes (Easter Egg) – Unlikely to be included elsewhere (could be a mistake) The Seeds of Doom • Stripped for Action: The Fourth Doctor – Moved to Logopolis on Season 18 Moved to Season 13 The Android Invasion • Directing Who: Barry Letts – Moved from Planet of the Spiders The Brain of Morbius • Philip Madoc: A Villian For All Seasons – Moved from The Power of Kroll Duplicated onto Season 13 Terror of the Zygons • Doctor Who Stories: Tom Baker – Also included on Logopolis on Season 18 Note – Zygons was the original DVD placement of this extra. The trend tends to be Doctor Who Stories extras get moved to the final regular appearance of the contributor. The Android Invasion • Remembering Barry Letts – Also included on The Daemons on Season 8 Note – The Daemons was the original DVD placement of this extra. Android Invasion is Barry’s final Doctor Who credit (minus his Season 18 contribution), so does work here as well.
Here is your handy list of the extras on Doctor Who The Collection Season 13 that have been removed from this set and extras that have moved to this season. For the full list of new extras, please go and buy the latest issue of DWM.
