i made one of my students cry 😭😭 i didn't mean to 😭 he said he had his own method of solving multiplication, but it didn't work. I circled the problems that were wrong (4 out of 5) and he started tearing up and needed a break 😭😭😭

a student asked if there was a way to solve this problem (write 4/9ths as a percent) without long division and I figured this out. sadly the child was repulsed instead of impressed 🥲
