1) Mamdani's campaign was an example of how politics can (& should) operate w/o corporations & billionaires in mind.

2) They've tried to demonize socialism for decades, but the policies have remained popular even with sour name recognition.

Just say that you agree with the fear-mongering, Islamophobic Democrats and Republicans that have been smearing this man's name and all but saying that he was responsible for 9/11.

Mamdani was outside WITH the people he was trying to serve, not positioning himself on a pedestal as better than them.

Van Jones needs to stop cooning. His saying that Zohran's victory speech was a switch-up in character is squarely rooted in Islamophobic, Xenophobic, and anti-Black ideologies.

The way we interpret someone's speech corresponds directly with the amount of power we believe they ought to have.

I hope these wins show the @democrats.org that we don't need just one face or one type of policy. We need people who can take the core message of the Dems, identify the intersections w/ their constituents, and are allowed to address them in a way appropriate to them NOT just what the party wants.
