Looks like it was quite a place!

This #GreatBlueHeron flushed when I walked near it. It tried #hiding behind some nearby bushy growth, but I found a small hole in the greenery for this capture. Showed him π

A slice of #marsh #scape for #scapeday from a bird walk yesterday.
The marsh is gradually seeing the bright greens recede into tans and rusts, but still has a ways to go.
I especially love the downy clouds trailing off to forever.
The layers of light are nice, too!
Hi Susan! Happy #Scape Day and happy #Halloween!
Here are some creepy old #gravestones from #Deerfield Massachusetts to support the mood of the day
The last two almost have a Mayan or Olmec vibe
Enjoy!
Thank you, MrC!

My favorite #birding pond is home to lots of BCNHs. During nesting, I can almost always spot more than a dozen in the trees around the pond, usually too distant for my kit
This one actually got close enough for a pic π

Thanks so much, KBD!

Love it! Great composition!
Thatβs a lot of #humansofBlueSky!
Thank you, Marjo! The mud flats are an acquired taste β definitely not a grand landscape with breathtaking mountains, glowing icebergs, roaring waterfalls, or inviting forest paths
But for me, as a bird guy, they are a great feeding ground for wading birds. So, the gray muck is one of my things
Thank you, Marjo! You are kind

Look forward to your findings

Hereβs one for #palacesandgardens.
It probably doesnβt qualify for either category, but the Plaza de EspaΓ±a in Sevilla has the right vibe, especially on a sunny day in March.
What a beautiful place and with so much positive energy!
Thanks for the kind feedback, Den!

I love this scene after a rainstorm in #Sevilla, una ciudad tan hermosa y fantΓ‘stica
I really like the large puddle reflection, but couldnβt match it with sky above (seems I didnβt get the light right)
Still, a nice photo from one of my favorite cities
Thanks, Rob!
Hope things are well with little Chunk and family πππ

I swear, itβs like herding cats!β
A Black-bellied Plover (non-mating plumage) and his Little Blue Heron neighbor are not following the photographerβs instructions. Hmmmm. Very frustrating.
