We have released a brand new demo! @sayuui.com made us some beautiful art to celebrate! The demo itself contains:

- A 35k word script 📖
- 3 character routes ❤️💙💜
- 4 CGs 🖼️
- 10 music tracks 🎵
- high resolution character sprites & animations 🎬

It's crazy how fast this year has gone by... I really should consider a demo release date soon. Seriously, this year is just too much that I need to take another extended vacation from my day job!

3/3 Lastly, I could actually release DSPPA's demo right now, up to half of the game! However, there are CGs that haven't been worked on yet if I released one now. Still deciding whether or not to omit the last chapter of the demo, or use sprites in place of the CGs for now.

2/3 This event CG took a long time to finish! It's been super complex to work on considering the amount of hand gestures and character positionings.

Also, expect ambient SFXes including a relaxing rainy scene! 🌧️

I just feel low-energy as of late, work, home and otherwise. Even had to work in short bursts to get a lot of DSPPA stuff done.

It doesn't help that my sleep patterns have been pretty messed up - sleeping late, waking up early & feeling rather tired throughout the day.

Hey folks! It's been a while since the last time I gave any updates about DSPPA.

I'm still hard at work at it, it's just that ever since I came back from my Japan trip last April that social media has made be a bit... too weary to post project updates. #visualnovel #vndev

Will I visit Japan again? Of course.
Probably within the next two years or so; international travel can get pretty stressful.

To those who sent me progress for projects, I'll get back to you asap! (jet lag is really affecting my concentration right now)

I must say among the best parts of the trip were the sakura, seeing students in school uniforms and visiting cultural points of interest.

It's kind of funny how one's understanding of Japan might be mostly through anime and such, until you actually see it for yourself.

As much as I'd like to share my adventures in "real time" in Japan, I think I'm going to turn off my socials and just enjoy my time there (communication limited to family). Perhaps I'll post photos when I get back.

I have to say, this trip is already costing me an arm and a leg. But then again, Japan has been on my bucket list for quite a while, until now only having experienced it vicariously through various media - photos, videos, anime and whatnot.

2/2: thinks "I don't want to keep them waiting" kind of thing and I that I should rush in giving my feedback.

But for the most part, thankfully my team is pretty understanding and patient to wait for feedback.

1/2: Ever feel like whenever you receive progress (notifications) from your #gamedev team that you need to respond immediately? As in look over art progress, and the like?

b/c at work or running errands or whatever I get this urge to drop whatever I'm doing and look over them, as a part of me

I must say even programming a simple game like Tetris is quite challenging (tried it, there's so much logic involved @_@)

NGL one of the best parts of being a #vndev is the ability to create your own waifus (or husbandos); for me, Café Memoria's Mikaela to Paulina in my recent project.

A sign outside of a store, reading I'm not interested in competing with anyone. I hope we all make it.

Finally hung our shingle outside our (nonexistent) corporate storefront!

Because our games are free. Because we're tired of throwing elbows with other Indies. Because we just want everybody to enjoy art, regardless of their wallet.

Maybe I should start using a free productivity suite like LibreOffice.

Seems like Word hates that specific document b/c every other document saves just fine. Luckily, I found an autosave of said document, copy-pasted into a blank and saved a new file. All good now.

I don't want to even imagine that happening when I'm writing 2+ pages of script.
