The Prologue will follow the Hands of the Rift, a historic group of heroes, and their defense of their home, Glimmerwood. And though this is the first and last time we will see them, and though they are forgotten, the echoes of their actions will be felt across the planes for millennia to come.

Give your money to Black, Indigenous, and Japanese people who are *actually* making the art you want.

They raise money on the objectification of my heritage regurgitated out to uncritical consumers.

TTRPGs have long fetishized Japanese culture and this is just another cash in of that.

Do not give them money.

Bad on D&D Beyond for platforming them.

Worse that they're coming back for seconds.

The commodification, oversimplification, and objectification of "Japan-ness" is exemplified by Obojima published by 1985 Games.

It is NOT Japanese.
It is NOT Ghibli-esque.
It is NOT authentic in any way.

They use Japanese culture, history, and media as a costume to create an appropriated fantasy.
