Christian Nationalists have far more in common with the Taliban than they have with the teachings of Jesus. Their main goal is not to be better Christians. It's to live in a society where wealthy, white men make all the decisions and women have no right to their bodily autonomy or the voting booth.
Everyone who cares about saving our democracy can DO something. Phone calls. Emails. Showing up. Joining a local activist group. Spreading truth on social media. And if you're a woman? Understand that Christian Nationalists are coming after our autonomy, freedom, and ability to vote.

The federal government is moving to take over the California National Guard and deploy 2,000 soldiers.
That move is purposefully inflammatory and will only escalate tensions.
It’s imperative. My motto this year is “surround and ground.” Surround myself with likeminded, intelligent people who are as passionate about helping restore our democracy as they are finding joy despite the chaos. My “ground” is humanity, truth, facts, knowledge, books, and learning.
