Yeah he had two drops before these grabs (I noted that in my recap from last night)

You’re spot on: he’s flashed but also underwhelmed at moments. I think he’s improved vs last year but he still has lapses that need to be ironed out

Keon Coleman played big at the catch point last night on multiple wins outside vs man coverage, including one vs Benford (the 3rd catch in this video) where he beat him off the line, stacked him, and maintained while Benford went for a punch out

Absolutely awesome

-A lot of blitzes & man coverage from the defense in response to situational work (red zone & late game 2 minute)

-Ray Davis made multiple kicks which is fun

-The Bills run game continues to look good. Multiple big runs tonight from James Cook & Ray Davis

-Flashes from Ed Oliver & TJ Sanders inside. Disruptive vs the pass & run

-No Josh Allen tonight after warmups and 7 on 7

-Javon Solomon had a good night. Multiple pressures & run stops. Was able to penetrate & knock guys backwards

-Blitzes were effective (largely 5 & 6 man looks). Multiple reps throughout the night that would’ve been sacks from the DL & 2nd level. Run blitzes were also effective & led to stops

Takeaways from the Buffalo Bills scrimmage tonight

-Two drops early for Keon Coleman, but he balled out after that. Beating Benford in press man for a downfield grab, two strong contested catches after that vs man coverage (also downfield), and a big gain on a drag route
