This morning, as I sit at my desk getting ready to spend the next 8 hours looking at a computer screen, I am painfully missing my days working at yarn shops and dyeing yarn. I’m so grateful for my current job, but I miss the community and creativity I used to have built in to my work.

At what point will my children sleep past 6:00 am? Hudson’s internal clock is so accurate that even though he stayed up late (his uncle was over last night), he was calling for me at 5:45. Looking forward to sleeping til 7:00 someday.

Spending time knitting on my second sock while Hudson colors. I love moments like this together. We’re at my in-laws, so that means more down-time for me and beautiful views of their farm out the window.

I’m new to it too, but I like seeing images similar to Instagram. Though a mix of images and text is fun too. I do like that I don’t have to have a beautiful image handy in order to share a thought.

I can’t take credit for the gorgeous sweater I’m wearing. The pattern is the Throwover sweater by Andrea Mowry, it was knit by my friend Bug out of Knitcircus yarn, and she very graciously let me wear it for a photo shoot. 😄
