My cousin was almost completely deaf after measles in 1967, my husband’s aunt and uncle were both deaf from having measles in the 1930s. My husband just got vaccinated last year, he thought he’d been vaccinated, but he wasn’t. The effective vaccine wasn’t available when he was little.
I’m just a history teacher, but “relentlessly lethal” is actively deleting brain cells for me right now.

The Ambassador Bridge is the one they own, and it’s almost as bad as the Bluewater for crossing. The tunnel is what it is. We’ve needed another bridge for decades, and the Morouns fought it every step of the way.
Anyone living in the Detroit area for more than ten years knows the Moroun family has always been corrupt. They fought the bridge for years, have owned abandoned property for decades, and have been worse than the Ilitches in terms of what they held back from the city.
I can’t unless Johnny and Tara are telling me what to look for, and I’m sure the CBC broadcasters are also fantastic.
Now they’re heading to metro Detroit, and this history teacher is scared for my students and their families.
