I had the chance to visit the Gill House today in Galion, Ohio. It's the first time I've been to the location since our investigation in 2013.

These preservation projects take a lot of time, money, and volunteer work. Props to everyone involved.

I've worked with Randy and the staff at Greenlawn in the past to track down the unmarked grave of Prospect Place's bricklayer and notorious 1800's criminal George Blackburn. They do great work and have extensive record keeping.

The continuing saga of the Old North Graveyard / North Market..... and the new memorials planned in Green Lawn Cemetery.

Researching the old Ohio Lunatic Asylum (aka the Columbus State Hospital).

I had a chance to stop by one of the asylum's old cemeteries with an infamous tombstone labeled "specimens".

I know we have been quiet lately, and I've been getting asked about paranormal conventions, appearances, etc.

I will be attending this Paracon in Bucyrus, but I won't have a table. I'm just stopping by to visit some friends in the area.

01.19.22 : The team reformed and investigated claims of activity at Landoll's Mohican Castle. Focusing on the MacBeth Cottage and historic Heyd Cemetery.

Well, apparently this happened in Mansfield over the holidays.

I'm obviously "highly skeptical" on all things Bigfoot, but it's always interesting to hear local stories and reports.

Ironically, the find would also lead to disproving prior "legends / misinformation" about the wreck that had been previously aired on a popular paranormal show.

The crash site would later be featured on EP18 of the C-Bus Paranormal Paracast.

It's good to hear from another team with experience and research skills. It's a rarity in this field. lol

There was quite a bit of push back when we cleaned house on the Mansion's history at first. 1800's legends, trainwreck crash sites, etc.

The TV networks haven't been allowed in since.

Another year. Another social media app.

From historic hauntings, cryptids, and UFO's....

It's an awesome location. My advice would be to ignore what has been previously stated on the television shows. A lot of it was legend based instead of factual from the prior owner.

I'm one of the historians of the house, and we're still finding a lot of new information on it. Highly recommended.

My home away from home. Prospect Place Mansion in Trinway, Ohio. I was one of the owners from 2017-2022.

My favorite out of state location would have to be the Villisca Axe Murder House or Waverly Hills Sanatorium.
